Developed by The Open Group in 1995, TOGAF evolved from the Technical Architecture Framework for Information Management (TAFIM), originally created by the U.S. Department of Defense. Over nearly three decades, it has matured into the definitive standard for enterprise architecture methodology, now in version 10.

What is a Ceterified TOGAF Master Enterprise Architect?

The TOGAF Master Certified Enterprise Architect credential represents the highest level of TOGAF certification. Unlike standard certifications that test theoretical knowledge, the Master certification requires demonstrating practical application of TOGAF in real-world enterprise architecture scenarios.

Candidates must pass rigorous scenario-based examinations and prove they can apply the Architecture Development Method (ADM) to complex business challenges. With less than 25 practitioners worldwide holding this credential, it represents the elite tier of enterprise architecture expertise.
